Getting Your Money Back From a Hotel

A friend of mine works at a hotel in the engineering department. He is a very caring person and takes his job seriously. One of his areas of expertise is in pool maintenance. He is certified in pool maintenance and construction as well as many other certifications. That being said, over a beer, he had told me about a complaint that was presented to him by the general manager. The story is this…

He starts his morning off by opening the pool area which consists of uncovering the indoor pool in what is called the courtyard. There is a 4 foot deep pool and 2 hot tubs there. The chemical levels are checked, (chlorine, P.H., alkalinity, & calcium), on the pool and hot tubs. The deck area is swept and the furniture area is arranged and clean. Now this is where the problem is.

The furniture is typical outdoor table and chairs, white, pvc type. How he cleaned them is by immersing a pool towel in the hot tub water and using it to clean it and then dry with a second pool towel. This was witnessed by a guest of the hotel. She never said anything when she checked out of the hotel but when she got home in front of her computer, she decides to open her mouth and bitch about this.

Her complaint was, that her child got so sick during the stay and that this method of cleaning these tables was disgusting and unsanitary and was responsible for making her kid sick and she is never coming back again and that she has pictures of him doing this.

Okay well lets look at this method of cleaning the tables. Granted this doesn’t seem to be a good way but the fact of the matter is that the hot tub is sitting at around 760 ppm of chlorine at 105 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a good sanitizer. Enough to kill germs and bacteria. That’s the purpose of the chlorine in the tub. The so called contaminates are filtered out but in reality there is nothing from that hot tub that can hurt you. So he wiped the table down with a sanitizer. So the reality is, is that the table was cleaned and dried. There was nothing on it that can make anyone sick. However did she ever look at the guests who put their sandles, clothes, towels and other items on the tables?

So what made her kid sick? Well did she ever stop and think that there are hundreds of people in a hotel at any given time and that a flu virus can spread in no time throughout a warm environment like their courtyard. Also they are staying in a room that may actually have germs from the previous guests. The fact is, that these rooms are not spotless and germ free when you occupy the room. No hotel room is. Someone could have ejaculated on the comforter and you would not know it. The maids only have a few minutes to get the room ready for the next guest. All these hotels are the same.

So what was this persons agenda? Well perhaps she wanted to get a discount on her room and I know full well that she has been credited some of her funds. However did she ever take into consideration that her batching may get someone fired? Would she like that if her work did that to her when she really wasn’t doing anything wrong? She doesn’t care. Her arrogance and selfishness is proven by her cowardly act of sitting behind a keyboard and not giving this fellow an opportunity to prove his case. He would have been happy to have the health department do a swab after cleaning in this method and further he would have paid there whole hotel bill if anything grew in the peetrie dish.

You see his intention was good and reality states that there was nothing he did to make anyone sick. So I hope that this cowardly bitch sees this post and understands that she is nothing more than an ignorant selfish bitch that needs to get a brain and a life. Oh and her husband needs to grow some balls. Enjoy your 50 bucks you coward.

The Forbidden "N" Word.

There is a lot of hype about the “N” word. Well lets look at the origin of the word ‘Nigger’. First of all the word ‘Nigger’ is considered a racial slur referring to dark-skinned people, mainly people of Africal ancestry or African American people.

Negro is a Spanish word originating from the Latin word niger which means black. Now in the English language, the word negro or neger eventually became negar and finally the common slang word nigger. It is said that this is most likely named from French nègre which is also derived from the Latin word Niger.

In Colonial America, Neger (sometimes spelled "neggar") prevailed in northern New York under the Dutch and also in Philadelphia, in its Moravian and Pennsylvania Dutch communities. For example, the African Burial Ground in New York City was originally known as "Begraaf Plaats van de Neger."

In the United States, the word nigger was not always considered derogatory, but was instead used by some as merely denotative of black, as it was in other parts of the English-speaking world. In nineteenth-century literature, there are many uses of the word nigger with no intended negative connotation. Charles Dickens, and Joseph Conrad (who published ‘The Nigger of the Narcissus' in 1897) used the word without racist intent. Mark Twain often put the word into the mouths of his Southern characters, white and black, but did not use the word when speaking in his own voice in his autobiographical Life on the Mississippi.

In the United Kingdom and other parts of the English-speaking world, the word was often used to refer to people of Pakistani or Indian descent, or merely to darker-skinned foreigners in general; in his 1926 Modern English Usage, H. W. Fowler observed that when the word was applied to "others than full or partial negroes," it was "felt as an insult by the person described, & betrays in the speaker, if not deliberate insolence, at least a very arrogant inhumanity." The note was excised from later editions of the book.

In the 1800s, as nigger began to acquire the pejorative connotation it holds today, the term "Colored" gained popularity as a kinder alternative to negro and associated terms. For example, Abolitionists in Boston, Massachusettes posted warnings to "Colored People of Boston and vicinity." The name of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People reflects the preference for this term at the time of the NAACP's founding in 1909.

Southern dialect in many parts of the southern United States changes the pronunciation of "Negro" to "nigra" (used most famously by Lyndon B. johnson, a proponent of Civil Rights).
Black became the preferred term in English in the late 1960s, and this continues to the present day. In the United States this has been displaced to some extent by African American, at least in politically correct usage; this resembles the term Afro-American that was in vogue in the early 1970s. Nevertheless, black continues in widespread use as a racial designation in the United States and is rarely regarded as offensive.

Today the word is often spelled nigga or niggah, in imitation of the manner in which some pronounce it. (Less-common variants are nigguh or even nikuh.) Other variations, designed to avoid the term itself, include nookah, nukka, nagger and the much older "jigger."
Okay now that we have some background research done we can now look at the real issue. The use of the word. First since when do the black people own the right to be the only people to bitch about slang words or slurs being used against them? If you think that nobody else goes through this then guess again. I was born in German when my father was ferving for the NATO alliance. In school, I was beaten up, I had swastika’s drawn on my locker, I was called a kraut all the time, I was called a Jew Killer and so on. What about Italian’s being called whops. Korean’s, Chinese and it goes on and on.

If this is such a bad word then why are the Black people writing this word into the lyrics of their songs? Why is it followed by vciolence? How about, “nigger gonna pop a cap in yo ass”. What kind of garbage is this? This is nothing more then thinking of a savage mind. Do they have a right to use the ‘N’ word because they are black? They taught the world to use it, they need to live with it. Perhaps they can learn to be a human being and not a savage. After all America is supposed to be a civilized nation.

Slavery?

Slavery? Well this is a subject that nobody wants to talk about. Well I am going to. All we hear is how the blacks were enslaved and so on. Wait a bloody minute. Does anyone for one minute ever consider that there were more then blacks being enslaved? What about the Irish and others for that matter. It wasn’t just the blacks that were enslaved. Now look, this wasn’t an event that happened yesterday. This was decades ago so get the hell over it. Look, does any of the black American families that are supposedly descendants of a family member that was a slave, ever stop to appreciate this sad event. Look if they want to still be living in Africa in poverty digging around in garbage dumps to survive and spreading Aids like wild fire then get on the boat and go. My Ancestors never had a slave, and never participated in slavery but I to this day have to pay for this and have to constantly be reminded of this event. But no, you sure as hell won’t give any recognition to my father who is a Veteran that took more then one bullet to fight for the freedom that Americans enjoy to this very day. Slavery was not a good thing but it’s the actions of the day. Look people, get a life. I guess if a person can whine enough about something long enough then the Government will certainly pay up to shut up. The squeaky hinge gets the grease. For some of them, the welfare check they get isn’t good enough. How about us, the people with a job who are enslaved to making a living and paying taxes so that they can enjoy their check every month! Well that’s me bitching about it, now where is my check!

Hello India? This is America Calling

Okay so how about this! Why is it that when I called Bell Canada, I spoke to a woman that I couldn’t even understand. I am so fed up with this. Chances are if you call the Canadian Government you will likely speak to someone who you can’t begin to understand. The Canadian official languages are both English and French. Not Broken English or broken French or can’t understand your English. The woman I spoke to was obviously from the Middle East and it is all well and good that she has employment in the Country but it pisses me off when I can’t understand a single thing she is saying. I also don’t appreciate how she enjoys getting mad at me when I ask to speak to someone who I can understand. If they are going to put someone in customer service then why don’t they teach them how to speak the official languages clearly. Let me reiterate that word… Clearly! Or better yet, send them back to the Mddle East until they learn to speak the language. Okay I am not trying to pick on people from the Middle East but the woman I spoke to was from the Middle East. Only in Canada eh! Multi-culture at its finest.

Not Paying for Your Decisions

Okay I understand that there is a war going on in Israel and Lebanon but what the hell is with these god damned people who need rescued. Okay I am Canadian and and I pay taxes and it’s my tax dollars and everyone elses that are paying for the means of transportation to get these supposed Canadians out of there. A lot of these people had fled their country to Canada during the last conflict they had and went back when it was over. Many of them own homes and so on. One lady on the news had said that her house was bombed and she had to board the ship to go back to Canada. Okay is our government out of their mind? They must be. I didn’t send them back to their country, they left on their own. Even the vacationers had to have a way to get back at their own expenses.

Sure I am sympathetic to the fact that there is a war going on there but we have to draw a line as to how we should help. They are in Canada now with no place to go. So basically many of them become welfare cases. More tax dollars out of our pockets.

And what makes this worse is once again on the news listening to this one stupid bitch complain about how horrible the boat ride was. What the hell did she want? A princess cruise ship to arrive with luxuries? Give me a frigin break. Perhaps she would have enjoyed the boat turning around and dropping her back off in “her country”.

Go ahead, you sons-a-bitches, use that reference of “your country” again and I will be the first to sign a petition to have your asses hauled out to sea and taken back to “your country”. When are these people that use these references going to appreciate the soil that saved their ass.

Enjoy my hard earned tax dollars that I pay to our government every god damned day. If you are collecting a welfare cheque then you had better offer some respect as to what every one of the contributors has done for you and stop your bitching. I have a right to bitch, you don’t.
